Tennis tryouts last over two days here, and the first day was today. I lost both matches today, even though I know that I could have won. I thought it was nerves, but then I realized I wasn't really nervous. I have practiced recently, and beaten these people. I hadn't eaten lunch, but I didn't even feel hungy. Any suggestions for tomorrow (other than eat lunch, obviously.)

hunger should be a cause of ur errors.
you might need the extra energy. like eat a light meal regularly...

and play like its not tryouts. play as if its a scrimmage or something.
the pressure of it being tryouts might be making play the way you do. Just play good rounds and you should do fine.

Well, if I was the coach I'd be thinking..."If you can't play well in practice because of nerves, how will the nerves affect you during a real match?"

So...my recomendation is.... Have Fun, don't think too much. Just hit the ball and enjoy every point. Keep your head up and don't dwell on bad shots.
