I lost my cool with my boyfriend and called him an a-- ho..because i got so disgusted with him making fun of people all the time. He says he laughs with people not at them...I don't agree..he is always making fun of either me or someone he works with...I can't stand it and I told him so. He just said if I didn't like it too bad...so we broke up...because of this...well he's in love with himself too. I'm going fishing. I did apolize for calling him an a--ho--, but he will not quit making fun of people. He also insulted and old lady for no reason at all and thought that was okay too.
I don't understand why he thinks that's okay and fine. And he thinks of himself as a kind and caring person. He says he is the way he is. How come I find this out after a year? I would have dumped him in the beginning of our relationship if he would have started that right off the hop. I find him insulting and dis-respectful.
And God help anyone who dis-respects him. Guess I'll get over it.

Sometimes people feel higher and more superior to others or he's going through a rough time in his life right now, using this as a defense mechanism. When my parents got divorced I acted the same way, making fun of people, yet consider myself caring.
He'll get over it sometime in the future hopefully, best of luck.

He is trying to find faults with other people to get the attention off of himself. Believe it or not your boyfriend probably has a low self asteem and likes to make fun of others to make himself feel better. You want someone that is going to make you feel good about yourself not bad. Move on find someone that is actually caring.

His actions could come from the way his parents treated him when he was younger. maybe he isn't really happy with himself so he says things about others to make himself feel better. he doesn't know how to cope with things and talk about them so he covers it all up with insults towards others.

Does he insult them to their faces? If not, he might be trying to make you laugh?
If he's just being a jerk, he learned it from someone, maybe his folks. I'd ditch him if you don't have matching or at least compatible personalities. Many fish in the sea.

So what made you date him in the first place? Where is the love in that relationship? He is ignorant and self-centered. I guess he thinks of no one but himself. Or it might just be that he's so used to you that he just jokes around alot.

my social teacher said im a marxist.according to the quiz i believe personal gain is more worthwhile since we live short lives and to hold ones tongue does us no good.im a real nice guy but i like the philosophy even tho i cudnt live it.
he knows its dumb to care if youll never see them again.
