(2) People could be answering at the same time with the same answer, it's the split second timing that puts them in the listing on in the listed sequence on yahoo answers.

This happens because you type it in thinking you are the first to answer but when you click submit you see a whole load of the same answer as yours above your answer.

because they want the two points for answering and it doesn't make sense to give the wrong answer if they know the right answer.
