I am afraid of dying alone. I think that would be the saddest way to go out, not having a single person around to know that you have passed away.

Scared of trusting someone comletely. Don't think ever had a really true friend - everybody at one point or another betrays you. Not necesseraly do something bad but could also be something they say that hurts you because you least expect it. That's why I don't like situations with no exits or the ones with only one exit.
Also partly afraid of failing. Never try, never fail - that was my motto for a while yet it doesn't work out. Once you decide not to try (or stop trying again) - that is actually when you really fail, because you have no possibility of finishing something successfully.
Funny thing is - before I used to not be scared of practically anything. Now I'm getting... not exactly scared but careful for personal health and well-being. Once you start doing something with your life, and start being successful - you're just afraid to lose it, because you've worked so hard for it and losing it just makes your life seem meaningless, like you worked your behind off for nothing.

I'm afraid of being alone.. Even if it's daylight out... I'm afraid of the dark because I feel so alone in the dark, but if I have a radio on, I'm fine... I guess I'm afraid of hearing strange sounds when nobody is around.... I enjoy the dark when I have company...
I'm also scared of heights. Which is why I love roller coasters, and things of that nature... It's thrilling to be scared

This isn't a flip answer. I am totally genuine about it. I spent a number of years in the special Forces / Covert Operations community. I remember the things I have done and I'm afraid of myself. Or more accurately afraid of what I am capable of. I'm always in complete control, but that "monster" (if you will) is always just below the surface waiting for a chance to emerge.

Fish. Fish scare the **** out of me. They look so weird. That and ghosts in closets. Water too actually lol. Well, water I can't see the bottom of. Overheating, I have a heat allergy so... lol. Afraid of the dark? No, I yell at the dark and tell it to shut up and I'm not scared. : )

Every time I see a spooky movie I'm afraid of the dark and I'm 55 years old. Get a night light.

I am a little scared of people in crowds - or just busy places. Paradoxically, that makes me like the dark more - because people cant see me as much!!
