the diagram shows that x-axis is a tangent to the curve 2y-9=x(to the power of 2)-6x at the point A.Find the coordinates of the point A..HELP ME!!!!

this is a simple problem- it's just the language that's complicated.
move the 9 to the other side: 2y=x^2-6x+9
factor the right side: 2y=(x-3)(x-3)
divide by 2
y=((x-3)^2)/2
that still looks complicated, but if you graph it you'll find that x=3, so your coordinates are (3,0).

I'm outta school for the summer and until i find a college i want to go to so i don't care about silly homework questions no offense you should ask your teacher or something
