make a video tape with yourself on it,buy him a birthday cake and sing happy birthday to him on the tape,then tell him what you did and went threw to get the answer to your question

It depends if your husbands a romatic try calling him on his birthday and tell him how much you love him and wish him a happy birthday then when he gets home throw him a late-birthday party.
If he is the tough guy then send him a card and tell him happy birthday and send a present something you know he'll love.
