I lost my cool with my boyfriend and called him an a-- ho..because i got so disgusted with him making fun of people all the time. He says he laughs with people not at them...I don't agree..he is always making fun of either me or someone he works with...I can't stand it and I told him so. He just said if I didn't like it too bad...so we broke up...because of this...well he's in love with himself too. I'm going fishing. I did apolize for calling him an a--ho--, but he will not quit making fun of people. He also insulted and old lady for no reason at all and thought that was okay too.
I don't understand why he thinks that's okay and fine.

You seem to be making him aware of his childish naughty behavior, well as letting him know that you will not tolerate it, what more can be done to tone this bad boy down? Do you think bringing yourself down to his level will help b/f to see how tacky his inconsiderate attitude really feels, I mean like giving Only him a dose of his own bad taste -in medicine, ridicule some of the things he does, just laugh at him when he eats, point out some of his mistakes (oh yes,he makes mistakes) and since he`s not perfect, he can be made aware of his flaws. or if you feel this is one of the reasons he laughs and tries to point out other peoples flaws and imperfections, in order to hide his own,Then the above plan to ridicule him, won`t be a good idea. I do hope he will see the harm in this type of bad behavior and make a change for the better.

Yeah it looks as if thats the way he is and pretty much is just going to stay that way. If this really bothers you, just stay broken up, which i kind of recommend. I mean, he might be making fun of you, but might be keeping it to himself. He sounds like a mean jerk or something. Try finding someone else who isnt as mean or just isnt mean at all.
Yeah i mean personally im not mean, at all, and i dont go laughing at people and stuff for no apparent reason so yeah. Im just a really nice and funny guy :)

He really does sound like an ******. Guys like that are really insecure with themselves and usually end up alienating all those around him. You should be able to get a better boyfriend without too much trouble.

I'd guess because he's a guy. And most guys are arseholes, myself included. Generally speaking it's to make themselves feel better. So don't feel bad about it.
