Use that spell check, it's the green button at the top with the abc in it. You sound really young, so great that you are thinking about your career now. Find a mentor that will let you come in and see what you do as a nurse first. That way you can see if it's something you would like to do. Yes the $$ is great but you need a passion for your job, it shouldn't be all aobut the $$. You want to be happy doing it and ready to go each day, not hating it. I did nursing for a while and decided that it wasn't for me. I went and got my license for cosmetology and now I have my own salon. I am much happier. I wish I had gone earlier. My friend is still in nursing and she hates her job.....My cuosin is a nurse and she wouldn't trade it for the world. You have to decide for yourself...... Good Luck..

go to bls.gov and find out. there are lots of ways to become nusre. 2-3 major ways are: go to 2 years college and earn a.s. degree, go to 4 years college and earn b.s. degree, or get licence of lvn apply for the second year in 2-years collge in nursing program. u should get b.s degree if u want to move on with nursing. a.s degree won't get u much far. for the 2 years college try laccd.edu (in la try lacitycollege.edu) and look for more information. some 4 years college or univ take only nurse who has R.N licence, but CSULA doesn't.
