I completely wrecked up my friendship with my best friend. I take full responsibilty but she still wont forgive me. I don't blame her for not wanting to, but she was the best friend i ever had and id do anything to make it up to her. we have talked about it a hundred times but she still won't budge. she won't let herself get close to me cuz shes scared she'll get hurt and she already had some wrecked up friendships thats why trust is such an issue. i dont know what to do. we were gonna go to college together and we were soo close. i feel bad cuz i made it hard for her to want to trust anyone again and i ruined the best thing ever. i dont know what to do.. any advice?

Slowly try to win her confidence again, be a good listner to her problems, be sympathise with her plight, if any. Try to do good for her, tell good about her to your friends which may reach into her ears. try your best.

Depends the extent. u must have done a horrible thing to make her so mad at u. So just buy a present like a sincere gift for her that she would really love. Say, since u both are going to college, probably a laptop or mp3 player? It may sound expensive, but since u will be in college with her, u 2 wld end up sharing it if u were back together. She would understand or at least give u another chance. Slip in a card containing ur written apology since she doesnt wanna talk to u face to face. Tell me how it works.

Give it some timeand she how she feels, if you have tried everything you can think of then try cheering her up with flowers or chocolate; if that doesnt work then let her be for a while, maybe she'll realize what a great friend you used to be and may come back to you.. Good luck and let time be the cure for all wounds.

Believe me I know how you feel I did the same thing but I left her alone and she must of been a great friend because she became my friend again just well if shes a true friend she'll or he'll come back to you and be her friend so let her be and see what happens.

Yeah, you should break up with your best friend. The Best friends for life ("BFL") title is a very important designation and you don't want to be giving it to a freak that tells you she is doing her chores when she is really talking to another friend. When she has to decide between life and death for you, she may be talking on the phone pretending to do her chores and you could be stuck in limbo. This is really not a good thing. Dump her. Dump her now.

I don't know what you did, but some things really are unforgivable. She might be right in not giving you another chance. A chance to do it again. You should have thought about the consequences before you did whatever you did. Don't blame her cause she can't get past it.

i had that same problem with my best friend....she wrecked our friendship...and we lived together....been knowing her for 15 yrs now....Now i wont even speak to her i dont want to look at her....she hurt me so bad the pain will never go away....but maybe u ddnt do anything nearly as bad as she did...so maybe u can get through this....just talk to her and tell her how sorry u are and how much her friendship means to u

It sounds like maybe you were her best friend - but it was not true for her. You can try to have a discussion like that with her and see how it goes. It sounds like she really doesn't want a close relationship - if what I am sensing is true then you really need to move on. Maybe she will then realize the error of her ways.

it all depends on what you did and if she will forgive you .well you say that she was your bf and you knew that she had wrecked friendships in the past, yet still you hurt her i think both of you should talk to a councellor at a church or something. good luck

I think only time will heal it, go on w/ your plans and hope she will some day forgive and you will be able to get the chance to prove she can trust again, if not then chalk it up to a learnin experience to you and dont do again w/ anyone, its the only way we learn our mistakes and one day at a time is all you can do,

It really depends on what you did that was so bad. Give her space and time. Make sure that she see's you trying your hardest to be an even better person than she first met, and if it doesn't mend then remember this for the future
