I'm shopping for new bedding for my guest bed, and I'm thinking about buying a sheet set that can be monogrammed.

Do you think it would be inappropriate to put my initials on a sheet set intended for a guest bed?

I like the idea of adding a personal touch to my bedding, but I'm also afraid that it might make my guests feel like they are intruding on my space.

What do you think?

It's your house!!!

And if your guests dont like it well they are only guest who won't be there for long anyways...but you will ALWAYS be there so do whatever you like! <3

As a guest I would think it's fine. I have stayed at friends' houses where the towles are monogrammed -- it's a normal thing. The monogram isn't there to identify the person sleeping in the bed -- it's like your logo, or the household logo.

Your home your bed your monogram. Go for it.

But, just to make sure your guests feel at home, find out what kind of soap they like and give them their own soap and towels as well as some fresh flowers and maybe their favorite sweet in the room as well. It is the little extra touches that make someone feel welcome - not what's embroidered on the sheets.

It is just my opinion, but I think it would be fine. Actually I like the idea. We have monogrammed towels that everyone including our guest use. I think it would add a personal touch to your guest room. I wish I had thought of that when we were redecorating our guest bedroom. Go for it.

I do not like the idea. Keep the guest bedroom nuetral. Now if the room doubles as say an office, then go for it.

Monogrammed sheets might seem a litttle creepy and make me feel unwelcome.

i might want to strip the mattress and position the linens in the laundry room in a basket along with your bath towel. there is not any want to "make" the mattress without sheets...it truly is basically stupid. basically leave the bedding in a "orderly" style through the mattress and leave it to them to style. i'd not wash the linens as human beings have particular strategies of doing laundry and also you don't desire moist laundry sitting in the gadget waiting for someone to handle it.

Surely, cause when it time for bed, the lights will be dim or off and no one will know the difference.
