If there were, every wanna-be author in the world, not to mention every pubbed author stuck in mid-list hell, would be using it.

There are some fellowship grants that pay for you to hole up in a cottage for an intensive writing workshop, but those are few and far between, and they won't pay your bills while you take a year off to write. Sorry, no magic answers for this one.

you dont need monney to write a book (out side of material costs ) if you are able to writ some thing that will capture the intrests of an audience of any size you will have no problem geting it published

i dont know how the money would help you write it.
but if you had written some good cja[ters and you sent it to a publisher they could ask for more and help with moeny, or to the government as long as its not to propagandable
