Ladies, whats the one piece of make-up you can't live without?

I would have to say mascara, cause I love what it does to my lashes!!

This depends on what feature needs the most help or is most important to you.

I always remember older women saying that without lipstick they look "death warmed over". Since my lips do not stand out, it would have to be lipstick!

1. Not make-up, but a disclosure: I have my lashes tinted permanently, which I highly recommend - looks 100% natural and lasts - no hassle with mascara and goop to remove it.

2. I have refined my skin products routine with the help of a dermatologist and it looks better than it ever has - I had veins lasered out, retin A, etc....I get compliments all the time, and my skin tone is even.

3. So for makeup, the ONLY thing required is Lipstick. Red, bright, old fashioned like Sophia Loren...it's a trademark, and with dark glasses and a trench coat you can even get wolf whistles with dirty hair!! (but rub crown with rubbing alcohol to take off greasy look in a pinch)...

I would say mascara. I in fact couldn't find my tube this morning and had to go to the dentist without it. I felt totally naked.

My husband would say lipstick. He thinks I look best with a little color, not just gloss. He couldn't care less about mascara.

That's so hard!!!! I agree mascara makes your eyes look bigger, but what about my shiny face? And pale lips? Sorry I cannot choose one, I need 3 things!!! It has to be at least powder, mascara and lip gloss, those are the basic essentials!!!

Me too. Mascara. Sometimes if I do nothing else, I put on mascara and that helps.
