Would they deny her this "choice"?

This practice is very common in other countries, especially in China after the one child per family law was imposed on the people. As a result of many years of this, China now has too many men and not enough women to marry them. So China has made this practice of sex selection by way of abortion illegal.

However, it is still legal in many states in America to have an abortion with no questions asked, even at 9 months of pregnancy, so many are coming here from foreign countries so they can get an abortion for gender selection.

I'm a christian and don't believe in abortion. if the baby cant make it and dies in the womb that's different, but to purposely kill a child because of its sex is very unsettling. that's like saying abort because the test show a little of blood that isn't fully white or black or so on.

I believe in abortions only if the woman was raped or in some cases if the child has a very serious chance of having a serious serious birth defect. Other wise I believe in if you have sex then you have to accept whatever comes of it whether you really wanted it or not. And you should always treat the child like you would any other. Having an abortion because you just don't like that sex is selfish.

I am pro choice and I think abortion as a means of birth control or for gender selection is a bad idea. It's hard on the woman's body for one thing. Besides with todays medical advancements you can choose the sex of your baby through various means before you even concieve.

I am pro-choice and while I am still firm in my belief that it is a womans right to do whatever she wants with her body and her life....if there is a problem in the future well then she should suffer the consequences.

Personally I would never have an abortion, especially for just the gender of the baby being wrong! Thats just bad Karma!

those human beings may be liberal Christians. i don't believe of ALL Christians are hostile to abortion, and that i don't believe of it makes them hypocrites in the journey that they are professional-selection. even as i became an adolescent and were given pregnant and had a touch one, the in ordinary words those who did not choose me negatively were Christians, because they were purely satisfied that i did not have an abortion, even even with the undeniable fact that I had committed a group of different sins through not being married and all. purely concept i'd upload that. i actually am professional-selection. i imagine some human beings may not understand what they're hostile to till they face it themselves. Now if those 3 women you talk of contain exhibiting up at antiabortion rallies, then certain, i'd say they're wide hypocrites.

Well, I am pro-life, but I can see why people would be pro-choice. It is one thing to have one if someone was raped, but to get the proper sex for a child is just horrible, when will people learn. Have we as a people become so barbaric. An aboriton is one thing, but getting more and more just to get a boy, it is disgusting, a waste of life. I don't see how anyone, pro-life or pro-choice, can be for that!

Now, if someone has sex, they know what will happen, and they should face what comes. I just don't see how it can be a choice to kill a baby.

Pro choice or not. 1 thing for sure. The more abortions she had. The less chances she got to give birth next time. So being able to give birth is much better than can't give birth at all.

First of all, third-trimester abortions are illegal in the United States. No one gets abortions past their second trimester, period.

Second of all, though I don't like the scenario you pose, because I find it pretty sickening, I believe that IT'S NONE OF ANYBODY'S F'ING BUSINESS WHAT YOU DO WITH YOURSELF. Everyone is different and no one is ever going to agree. The only way to peace is tolerance for all. I'm not suggesting we pardon all the prison inmates, so don't start whining about the slippery slope of tolerance. There is a difference between justice and tolerance, but the two are not mutually exclusive.

YOU ARE NOT ANYONE ELSE'S MOMMY/DADDY (EXCEPT FOR YOUR BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN).

Abortion shouldn't be used as a form of birth control. If you want a certain gender then adopt

i think that's not right. i'm moderately pro-choice, i'm against abortion as a form of birth control, and aborting a child b/c it's a girl is similar. it's not a valid reason to abort a child.

Where is it legal to get an abortion at 9 months of pregnancy? Honey- that wouldn't be an abortion- that would be an induction of labor! Are you on drugs?
