June Bugs! I was about 3 when one of those things got caught in my hair. That buzzing, fluttering noise was horrible. I screamed around the house time my parents finally got it untangled. Today when I see one I still get cold prickly inside. :)

I was shaking out towels on my porch that the kids left there after swimming and a Hercules beetle fell out. Those things are HUGE! Everything on the internet says that they're harmless, but I won't touch it. I did scoop it up and keep it around though. He eats peeled fruit and digs himself down in the soil and makes huge mounds out of it. He is really cool....to a point. I'm not really scared OF it, just scared to touch it! Very intriguing though.

Isn't that like a huge grass hopper? Oh wait, that's a locust, right? Grass hoppers (big ones anyways) freak me out and I'd pass out if one landed on me. I don't like any bugs but flying roaches will nearly cause me heart failure.
Of course spider too. I think that's just a given.

I hate roaches. They really gross me out especially the big water bug ones. They sometimes fly too and some of them have a horrible smell to them.

Black Widow spiders make me very nervous. There are a lot here in Ca.

Cockroaches... I think it's the name that freaks me out... And how they look... And how they live... And how they don't die... Gaw.. I'm gettin' chills just typing about this!

iam allergic to bees,wasps,hornets so i would say they freak me out and i came close to death because of them.
