I have heard that people can read the conversations from msn messenger. I think my kid is chatting with someone they shouldn't be and I want to be able to go back after she is off the computer and read what they have been chatting about. I know this is horrible but I need to know for peace of mind that my kid is not into the wrong things. If anybody can tell me how to access these conversations I would appreciate it greatly.

when you install msn messenger there is a section that says ''save logs'' or something similar. its usually in a folder located in the ''my documents'' section called ''logs.'' if this option was not ticked during installation the logs are gone once the window is closed and they cant be retrieved. hope this helps a little, and good luck finding out what your kid is up to i hope its not as bad as you might be thinking.

msn messenger- 1-click on tool, 2- click options, 3- click messages, 4- check " automatically keep history of conversations , 5- click ok.
This will record everything typed. When you want to read what is written. Select the name in messenger, and right click on it, you should then go to " view message history ", you will see every conversation written to that contact. It is not horrible to want to keep your kids safe, if you find there is nothing to be concerned about, you will rest better.

I can tell you how to access them, but MSN doesn't save them by default any more, so they're probably not there.
