First, remove the prenthases and get
(4x-8)/3 - (2x^2-4)/5

Second, find the common demominator. You'll get:
5(4x-8)/15 - 3(2x^2-4)/15

Once again, remove the prenthases and get:
(20x-40)/15 - (6x^2 - 12)/15

Combine both and get:

(20x - 40 - 6x^2 + 12)/15

Solve above and get:
(-6x^2 + 20x - 28)/15

4(x-2) over 3 - 2(x^2-2) over 5
={4x-8}/3 -{2x^2 -4}/5
={5(4x-8) }/15 - {3(2x^2 -4)}/15
=[{20x-40)-(6x^2 -12)}]/15
= {- 6x^2+20x -28}/15
