A waterbed. Been sleeping on one for 20 years. I love the heater part -- it's all warm and toasty the minute you climb into bed. No electric blankets required. And nowadays, the "matresses" are quite firm, not this slishy-sloshy characteristic of the earlier models.

My brand new one that I got for 90% off retail - yes, that's right!! I love a bargain. So it only cost me $400. (For all this kids asking for help with all their math homework tonight, it was originally $4000.) It is a Sealy, pillow top, King Size. Ahhhh..... I need to get in there now. ('Tis quite late anyway!! eek 12:00am) Adios.
