cause i hate it. shes wondering why i havent wore the outfit yet but i dont wanna hurt her feelings. I appreciate the gift but its not my style. what should i do??

If it's a two piece, just wear mix it with other clothes. Or you can say it's too small.
You should tell the truth about the gift, and add in like "It's ok, since you didn't know my style." so you won't offend her. Since she didn't know it wasn't your style and she might feel bad, so make it light and apologettic.

WELL THIS IS NOT YOUR FAMILY, SO BE HONEST. TELL HER THAT YOU LOVE HER AND ARE GRATEFUL THAT SHE SPENT TIME TO GET YOU A GIFT, BUT THAT THE GIFT DOESN'T FIT AND ASK WHERE SHE GOT IT AND GO AND EXCHANGE IT FOR SOMETHING YOU MIGHT LIKE. MOST STORES WILL DO THIS WITHOUT A GIFT RECEIPT. WHICH BY THE WAY YOU CHOULD ALWAYS GET WHEN YOU BUY A GIFT FOR SOMEONE. ONE PERSON'S TASTE IS NOT ALWAYS THE OTHERS. iF YOU ARE TRULY FRIENDS THEN SHE WON'T MIND. SHE WILL JUST BE HAPPY THAT YOU GO SOMETHING YOU TRULY LIKE AND WILL USE COMPARED TO NOT USING OR WEARING. THIS IS WHY i LOVE GIFT CARDS. LET THEM GET WHAT THEY WANT.

Take it back to the store, get the money, and buy her a nice gift with it.

maybe wear it ou to a movie ( or part of it, not as an outfit) that is just with her, or somehting, so not eeryone else has to see it.....or you could tell her it did not fit correctly so you took it back for store credit and bought somehting else...that always works!
