it's called the white house because during the civil war, it was set on fire.
when they renovated it and re-painted it, they painted it white, so they re-named it the white house.
before that they called it the president's mansion

The only reason why you are in the "ghetto" is because you are to busy proving that you belong there. It is people like you that give the african american race a bad name. There are plenty of black men and women that have worked their way out of the slums and the ghettos of this country. And yes I said work, something you probably have no idea about. I beleive that you have to earn your way in this world and half the people that I have seen that live in those types of areas are just to lazy to make an honest living in the real world. Instead they wait in a welfare line collecting their check that your "racist" government is PROVIDING YOU. Instead of complaining all of the time why dont you try to fix the supposed injustices you have allegedly suffered and get a real job.

Everyone has a right to their opinion.But I`m thankful I live in America and that all people don`t feel like you do.I would not want someone from Ireland to be president just because that`s my heritage.The best person for the job,regardless of color or what their earlier hertiage is should be in office.As far as our president the majority of Americans put him office and for those who voted for another person, the now president ,even though they didn`t vote for him, should be given their support,as we Americans need to stand together.

I think that your attitude towards white people is just as racist. There is many races suffering out there, get in line. We are all responsible for our destiny. BTW, all my specialist and doctor are black so what are you talking about? I don't pull in even half the income they do, and love them all, they are great people. No one is forcing anyway we are free individuals who have a choice to move where we want and be who we want to be in life.
