What would you do?
I have considered sending a few children I know to live with a really poverty stricken family.
I am sad that kids these days think they deserve everything. Like the world owes them a cell phone with a ps2 a laptop and a brand new car.
I would like to know what you think would work to make them appreciate what they do have and not keep wanting more!

Take away everything you have given them, except what they need to live, such as clothing, food, shelter, health care, school supplies and books. Throw out the TV and computers. Spend time as a family, play games, go on nature walks, camp, swim, read to each other. Spend time as a family doing something for someone else, work at a food pantry for instance, or clean up trash along a road, or in a stream. Be their girl scout or boy scout leader. Volunteer at their school. Choose a needy family for the holidays and spend the money you would have on each other on them.

Be an example to them, simplify your life and show gratitude for what you have.

take everything away they have, send them to a shelter for a day and see how it really it... when u take their luxury way,(ex: phones, tv. radio, cars, even food(feed them cans of peaches and corn)) then they may understand how lucky they are.... then to go further.. donate all their stuff to charity with or without their approval.. u brought it anyway. im 1-2 days they might be different ppl
