I try not to criticize other peoples music but everyones answer so far has sucked. METAL RULES!!! I love Immortal, Cradle of Filth, Hypocrisy, King Diamond, Mayhem, Marduk. and on the other end I even listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush, and believe it or not Johnny Cash. EMO is more of a lifestyle than just music but its cool. Im sorry, favorite type. Black Death Thrash Goth Punk Hardcore Rock.... Rap, Country, and R+B is my kryptonite, I get sick everytime I hear it. The2 Metalheads are Cool.

the new screamo stuff (Wikpedia doesn't classify screamo the way we do now). I like it because there is nothing like it... it's something that is really quite different from anything that there has been in the past.... The oldest "modern screamo" band I can think of is Deftones, but I'm all about rocking underOATH. It gives you this insane boost of energy, and kind of makes me feel like being destructive. Another big positive is that since I don't like rap music... my stereo in my car can really blast.... so when my neighbors come in with that rap crap, I blast them some Underoath right back, they're afraid of it. They don't take too well to the screamo!

Indie Rock, Punk, Alternative..
I think the music from these genres is more deep and meaningful...
I do listen to dance/hip-hop when I'm at a party or whatever but not by my self.

depends on what mood I am in. If I want to relax n read I use classic. If I'm driving down the road country works just fine.

Hip Hop because I can dance to the music and the beat is always rockin' and groovin' so you know why I like Hip Hop.

My favorite music are R and B, hip-pop. some singers I will recommand are Bobby Valentino, Cassie, Keyan West, Usher, and many more.

Classic rock/Doo Wop because it was the music i listened to growing up. And it's still the best!
