Hi, I live in Canada and im wondering should i play football for my school this year, im about 5'9 160pounds and going into grade 11. I played rugby for my school for the last 2 year, so i have the mental toughness, just wondering what position would i play if i do decide to tryout for football?

Stick to Rugby. That is a real man's sport. But if you must play Football you sound like a good weight for a wide receiver or free safety. Maybe a strong safety since i assume that you can crack heads.

I would say FB or LB its highschool and people arent going to be that big and it sounds like you like to hit people. I was 5-10 142 when i was a senior in HS and was 2nd team all confrence at FB so don't let anyone tell you your too small to crack some heads and lead block!!!

be a running back or a tailback. But you rugby boys play rough. Be a defensiveback.

sure - give it a go and see what it's like.

Your coach will put you where he needs you...
just make sure you are physically fit.

Have fun!
