guitars go eBGDAE (from furthest from you to closest) for each string, play the open note and then adjust the tuning nob according to your tuner. once the dot/line on the tuner is pointing to the middle, that string is tuned. do the same thing for all other strings

if the tuner does not come with instructions, then take the guitar to a music shop and they will help you tune it and they will show you what to do, so you can do it for yourself, and get a tuner that is easy for you to tune the guitar with instructions and keep it for future use. Have a wonderful time playing, keep it up.

It depends on what kind of tuner you have, but generally:
6=E
5=A
4=D
3=G
2=B
1=E
