age of consent depends on where you live. yes you will be left with a hole. how noticeable the hole is depends on how well you usually heal. this doesn't always work out tho. i usually heal very well with no scarring but ten years after i removed a nose ring i still have a scar. its not so bad tho. you can claim it was a really big pimple or a mole you had surgically removed.

This one is simple... if you don't have your parents consent, don't get a lip ring. If you don't heed that advice, please at least be sure to do more research on it before you do. There are all kinds of infections that can occur, and that will not only be difficult to explain to your parents, but very, very painful.

i would think as soon as you are an adult here in pa its 18 as for the hole i'm not sure i had my eyebrow done and its out now theres no hole

i think it's 18 in more places. and it depends whre you want to pierce, top or bottom lip? top it'll definitely be more obvious. lower lip...no one will even notice it's there unless you show it off.
