Basically, yes.
It is a group of people that advocate the right to choose abortion as a birth control method.
It is the opposite of the Pro-Life movement.
Make your own assumptions.
Your mother let you live.

Ok, so, what's so great about life?
Sure, babies bring joy, but also, worry, regret, abuse and a whole host of other issues that can be avoided.
Let's just look at the facts...
Irresponsible actions created a life that now requires responsibility, which the person didn't have in the first place.. so making other irresponsible choices just follows naturally, like NOT having an abortion or NOT giving the child up for adoption.. then the women live on welfare, food stamps, what have you... they are over worked, completely stressed, and then they abuse their children...
WHY DON'T PRO-CHOICERS AND PRO-LIFERS COMBINE THEIR ENERGY INTO STOPPING IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVOIR IN THE FIRST PLACE? Then this question would be a non-issue.
Or, why don't both groups put their energy into GETTING THE FATHERS OF THESE UNBORN BABIES to be responsible and not walk away from their obligations?
Abortion is a last choice... Abortion, is in fact when you have no other choice and you can't live with the fact that YOUR CHILD is out there and YOU KNOW NOTHING and HAVE NO CONTROL over anything that child is doing or learning... It's beyond painful to think about. It's completely unnatural.
Giving up a baby in either way is completely devasting to a woman.
So, stop the arguing people and figure out a REAL way to help...

babyinwomb and head in rectum.
Be ye a ditto head or an air head the concept is the same ignorant crap.
Even pro-choice folks do not go out and say, "Hay, let's hump and get pregnant so we can have an abortion?" That concept is just stupid.
I read your profile and saw you are a Catholic. Isn't that the group that goes around terrorizing pregnant women, blows up buildings and murders doctors for Christ sake.
Statistics show that both pro choice and anti choice folks agree abortion is not good.
Statistics also show that there is no religious difference when it comes time to making the real decision. As many Catholics as any other group get abortions.
Oh yeah, isn't the Catholic church the one with celibate clerics that hump little boys.
I just love the way that Christians snivel about trivia.
Why don't you do some real work on reducing the reasons women choose abortion.

it doesn't matter does it, everyone has their points of view. Nobody wants to kill babies, but nobody looks at all the views from all the mothers. If a black woman is raped by a white guy and she has a blonde blue eye baby, imagine living in the hood, or if your Daughter is 12 and got molested and knocked up, what do you do, kill a baby? How 'bout when the life of the mother is threaten by the delivery of the child, or someone who is in a Coma and gets rape by the male nurse and gets pregnant, should that kid live under those circumstances into where? Who's going to take him/her the state? You can't blanket it one way or another and that's why choice offers an alternative from the holy roller christian point of view.

To choose what happens with your body. How would you feel if legislation was passed that regulated when you ate, shat, or had sex, which in your myopic worldview would no doubt be an attempt to contribute to the rampant overbreeding that's plaguing this planet? Your body should be your own, and if you don't want to have a baby, that should be your choice. Or do you really advocate women going back to using coat hangers? Kill? Wake up! We kill every day in the name of "freedom" (aka oil). Get a clue.

Choose to not have to not have my reproductive rights taken away. Pro-choice doest mean pro-abortion. I am not for abortion, but am for keeping my rights to make choices about my own body.

How about a choice to do what YOU want with YOUR life and not have to conform to OTHER people's beliefs?
[edit]
If that was directed to me, you really need to reread what was written. I clearly stated that it's to choose what you want to do, not choose your own life.

"Pro-Choice does not mean Anti-Life or Pro-Abortion. Pro-Choice means that one is in favor of WOMEN being able to choose what they want to do to their own bodies. Please do not mistake the two."
