The Wii will not be the better system in the end. The PlayStation has the Wii covered in all areas except in price. The graphics for the Wii are not as good as the PS3, plus the PS3 has so many more options that the Wii does not. And if you look at the games for the Wii you will notice most are for kids 16 and under. The Wii is selling itself on the controller alone. The only advantage the Wii has is the price over the PS3, but just remember that you get what you pay for. The Wii is an OK system for casual gamers, but for the hardcore gamer should get the PS3 for sure.

My favorite of the three next generation systems is the Nintendo Wii. It is my favorite console for a few reasons. For example, it has a motion sensing controller. Although there have been motion sensing controllers In the past, this one is much different than any prior to it. It not only senses tilt motion, but it senses motion in six degrees of freedom. What this means is that it will not only sense when you tilt the controller, but it will also sense movement back and forth, side to side, and up and down. It completely eliminates the need for any analog sticks, and gives you a sense of actually being in the game. Another reason that I love this console so much is that it is so cheap, and although its price is low, its quality, in my opinion, far exceeds that of both of the other consoles. Its cost is, at maximum, one half that of the XBOX 360, and one third that of the Playstation 3. The only thing that has been made less superior to conserve the price within the consoles hardware is the graphics. Although that might deter others from choosing this console as their favorite, I prefer gameplay over graphics, and the Wii was specifically designed to implement maximum gameplay into each and every game put out. Clearly by my choice, I am not afraid of change, which is why the innovation of the Wii is my favorite choice.

And then there is the Playstation 3. Now make no mistake, just because it's in last doesn't mean it's bad, not by any means. It just doesn't have features that appeal to me as much as the the Wii. It does have many great features though. For example, its graphics are completely mind bending. They are ironically so real that it's unreal! There can be millions of pixels of shading, lightning, and blossom effects. There can be virtually any kind of graphics scheme desired. Cel shading, realism, anime, etc. You name it, and I guarantee the Playstation 3 can not only do it, but do it like you've never seen before. Although the Playstation 3 is seemingly a good console, it does not spark as much interest in me as the other.

So in conclusion, my favorite console is the Nintendo Wii, followed kind of closely by the Playstation 3. They all have very different strengths. If you like innovation, go with the Nintendo Wii. If you're looking for great graphics, and do not have the money to be able to afford an online service, go with the Playstation 3. Either way, just remember to have fun!

The Wii will be better as far as games that are actually fun and innovative. The PS3 will probably have the "cool factor" going for it, and a few good games, but it will be way too expensive. Just like the DS/PSP thing, the DS is a better, more fun and innovative system (not to mention cheaper), but the PSP is cool looking and people who don't know any better get that. The DS now outsells the PSP now though, and I think it will be the same with PS3/Wii.

Its hard to said that becuase everyone have different way of saying it. PS3= Xbox360+Wii PS3 cost alot and not everyone can buy it. WII will cost about 170$ they have some killing games like zelda. Sony said they will pay some small company for making games for PS3. If PS3 have a lot of good games like PS2 than PS3 will win Xbox360 and Wii for sure.i will say it will all depend on the game...

There is no way Wii will be better than PS3. PS3 has tons of super fun gamews with great graphics. Plus they took all the things great with the other systems and put them in their own console. Like Nintendo's motion senstive control, PS3 has one too.

The cool thing about the Wii is that you will be able to download the back catalog of Nintendo games ( as what I hear) But as we all know, the PS3 will dominate. I just hope it is worth the 600 price tag.

I want the Wii to be better, but we all know that those "COPYING BASTARDS" at sony are gonna make the ps3 better just cuz of graphics and the blue ray disc! The only way the Wii will be better is if karma does something bad 2 sony!
