Yin Chaun is my favourite on Acland street. There is also a Thai restaurant and few cafes. There are some really nice restaurants around on Fitzroy St.

don't know about restaraunts that are there now but would love to know if the fairy stork chinese restaraunt has moved somewhere else.
also in acland st are the two best cake shops in australia. you can pig out on luscious cakes instead of a proper meal.
