We need to get out. We have accomplished the goals... they have a government, they have a constitution, they have elected officials, etc... time to go already.

I'm not an American but I'll say America must stay the course because the USA created the mess in the first place. Iraq was fine before the war. Saddam Hussein, evil as he is, could rule the whole country with the iron fist, no problem. All the threats of WMD and links to terrorist are fake, but America bought it and now have a moral duty to stay the course until the mess is cleared.

Oh yeah, the oil is good too...

In my opinion, the American troop can withdraw little by little and make sure the Administration has a Plan as such.Right now we have more than 120,000 men and women in Iraq and the taxes payers like you and I are footing up this bill. Our deficit raised up to $9 trillion dollar.I have no idea how are we going to pay this bill and I have been told that we are paying only the interest.Let me know if someone has the real numbers.I would love the army to change their strategy and build more roads and bridges for them.Civil war in Iraq is common and the American has to do what she has to do.But,not 100,000 plus army in the land that is not our territory and does the American benefits anything from this war,In my opinion I do not see anything. Now Senator John Glen came out and criticized the way troop is functioning in Iraq meanwhile, another Republican senator supported The President now change his position after he went to see the situation in Iraq. Now the Americans people has to decide what do you want from this war and voice your opinion through the Congress and I urge you contact your representatives Congressman and senator from your state or call the white house comment line and it is your freedom to ex pres.

SBush invaded Iraq because he thought they needed rescuing. Heck they were better off with Saddam. But the main reason he invaded was OIL his favorite subject. Stay the course is getting pretty old and sad. Why doesnt he just come out and say " I dont know what the hell I am doing?".

You know, as crazy as this sounds I was in the military in 2002 and I think I may have started this whole Iraq thing. I got inside information about invading Iraq, I got drunk and leaked the info at a nightclub in New York. That next day someone showed me a New York newspaper and the headline was "Leak of Iraq War Causes Stock Market to Crash"............I about **** my pants!

The reasons keep changing but getting out now will give Iran unbridled influence in Iraq through the Shias (Moqtada Al-Sadr and SCIRI).

To keep nukes out of the hands of terrorist supporting states...wake up. Iranian leaders welcoming the true jihad ...are you blind. Ignorance is so very bliss. God help us all.
Iran is sandwiched right now between Iraq and Afghanistan. Their president stated it is his purpose to start the true Jihad and destroy Israel. WAKE UP!!! The ball is rolling and it cannot be stopped nno matter who shoved it first. 50 years from now my grandchildren won't live under the threat of terrorist smuggling briefcase nukes into the USA. STAY THE COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAVID S I don't either but just the fact that you say Bush wants to destroy the economy shows your ignorance and dismisses any arguement you may try to carry.

Bush - the robber baron - will stay the course for as long as it takes Haliburton to drain every drop of oil and to steal items of antiquity.

Why doesn't he send only stupid repugs to fight over there - since they support every idiotic comment that bursts out of his silly mouth.

Of course we need to stay the course; to quit now would be to hand the country over to the terrorists. The WMD issue was the proximate cause of the war, and for you to suppose otherwise is silly. For what was really going on with WMD, see the reference.
