To all of you people out there in Yahooland and the rest of the world, who fall in love with someone who says they love you, but they are otherwise engaged with someone else, a piece of advice:

THEY'RE NOT LEAVING THE OTHER PERSON!!!! Stop wasting your life waiting for them. Go out and find someone who is already available, and spend time with that person. Check them out first, to make sure that what they say is the truth; don't be a fool twice. Thank you.

Love your comments! You hit the nail right on the head. I cannot understand these women who think a man is going to leave a woman for her when he sees that other woman as a whore.

maybe true :) i dont think its a waste of time to wait for someone u love..its just a matter of how far you;ll go to be with the one u love..and when that time comes everything you've gone through, no matter how bad it is, is worth it :) fate is what u make it, and if the love is so strong that u cant seem to live without him or her, you'll just do every possible way to be with that person even if it means losing and leaving everything behind :)

I agree completely. If they are already engaged or married, they won't leave because they must love the other person a whole lot more to be with them on such a deep level of a relationship.

that is so true. Alot of people dont realize when they meet someone who is already in a commited realtionship most of the time they are not going leave the other person. but yet this person will feed you lies after lies to keep you as their person on the side, sometimes almost as they develope some type of feelings for you but its really they want to have their cake and eat it too. i have seen this happen to alot of friends of mine and its sad because people always want to believe the one they will love will be there for them like they promised. but the day never comes where that person wants to leave their comfort zone. It takes a sick sad person to really do that to someone but it happens

Never get involved with someone already attached. If they can allow themselves to "care" for you what's that say about their idea of what love is all about?

I've never been in a situation like this but I've always wondered about a person letting someone put you on "hold".

well said.

never waste your life waiting, i personally refuse to wait longer than a week for someone thats available, and if a girl tells me she is getting seperated or in the process of filing for divorce or something like that i just walk away.

i am not imortal and refuse to spend my precious seconds on this earth waiting for someone that is not going to come

Kelly my girl, sometimes they do. Is that what you are afraid of?
Nice thought, but the homewreckers will always be just that. I wish the otherwise engaged folks would figure out what fidelity means, but sometimes they don't.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I know how it is. You find yourself defending someone to your friends and they shake their heads. You never thought you would be that person, but your man is different, right. No way. Never again!

This my darling is TRUE! I never went for a man with a "woman", unless it was his daughter. By putting yourself in this type of situation, your just waiting to get hurt.
