You can think anyway you want ...still these days. I once remember hearing a man named Martin Luther King, Jr. say. "It is not the color of a mans skin that one should look at, it is the character of that man."
I would love to of seen this dream come true, and that these labels white, black, brown, yellow, red and in-between were gone from tagging people.
I sometimes think I look blue, especially when the North wind blows down the great plains and hits my town with 5 degrees.....above zero. I actually turn blue....................

You are what you think you are! There is noting improper about it. A day will come when we are all going to be judged with the same scale, be it a black or a white. We are made "beautifully and wonderfully". And in His likeness we are made.

A college friend of mine ( who is black ) basically considered herself white. She grew up in a well to do black family ( father is a lawyer ), and became highly educated herself. She had absolutely 0 black friends, and ended up marrying a white guy. I never could tell if this pattern with her showed she had disdain for other blacks, or if this was just her preference. Of course she totally contradicted herself by majoring in African - American studies, but so are the oddities of life.

Be yourself. Dont try to be someone you arent. Find your own ethnicity and if you feel comfortable with it stay that way. There is nothing wrong with that. Be happy being you, not a imposter.
