I started chatting with a person from this website. After several hours of chatting within a week, I didn't hear from the person again until a few weeks later. I got an email with an invitation to join Zebo. A month later I got two more emails. The first email contained an invitation to join the Kaboo List and the other one wanted me to try www.goodtree.com. I have not chatted with the person in about two months. Should I still treat the person as a friend? What should I do?

I would treat all of the emails as spam or contact the person and let them know that you dont want any other emails, etc. (if your sure it is because of them)

I made the mistake of checking the box that allowed people to email me. I won't make that mistake again because I get about 100 spam mails a day and am still trying to clean up the ones that get through to my inbox.
