I think its rediculous... and i'm NOT a smoker.. I understand no smoking in family retaurants and public buildins and schools and even colleges, but at bars and pubs, thats just getting rediculous.. I think they should leave it up to the individual establishment and not force it on pubs.

It's politically correct nonsense. Don't you go to a pub to drink?-Drinking and smoking go hand in hand. Doesn't drinking cause more problems than smoking?-As far as I know smoking doesn't cause you to get in fist fights and wake up in unknown places....I understand outlawing it in other public places but banning it at the pub...Why?

Colorado passed a ban July 1st of this year that there is no smoking in public places. A lot of people complained about it, but got use to it. I guess that's what all smokers have to do, get use to it.

I am...I can finally go to a bar again and BREATHE!!!!!

I used to smoke...foolish me...but quit over 10 years ago...and even then I couldn't stand how stuffy it got in bars and how many cigarettes you could smoke in just a few hours (a pack!!!)....but now that I am a born again air breather...I cannot stand smoke of any kind, anywhere...I can't believe I ever smoked at all it is so STUPID and repulsive to me now...so I am happy to not have to breathe someone elses smoke indoors (and even outdoors!) and am only sorry for the pain I must have caused anyone around me in the days when smoking was acceptable everywhere.

I hope the day comes when they ban cigarettes for good...that's the only way to stop kids from starting...everyone else can pay through the nose if they want or quit.

NO, The restaurants have already started to do that. I don't think it will be until the first of the year for us. I think bars will loose a lot of business from it. It seems that alcohol and smokes go together.

Yes. If individuals would like to smoke, there should be a "designated smoking area" in a well lit area where smoking is allowed.

i don't smoke but i think that if smoking is banned in places where people go to socialize then they can can just do it at home and businesses will lose patrons.
