I can see myself on screen using webcam; have trouble sending/receiving im's & don't know what step I am missing. Logitech's help is pretty useless. I've tried AOL im & MSN im, but can't send/receive with either. Can you help? Tks.

I wish you had included more information as this is just not quite enough to really tell what is going on. With what you have provided it could be several things going wrong. First off, does the person on the other end of your webcam see your video? If not then it is possible another program is using your webcam and it needs to be released. Pop up the Task Manager while running the Webcam and see if other programs using video are running too. Close out any which are running and to be sure close any other instant messeging programs. Then go into your Device Manager and see if you have more than one video sourse. If so find out which one it is and go to that program and make sure it is not using the Logitech camera. Go into the options and make sure it is not using the camera. If this does not work then try removing the Webcam and its software. Then re-install the software, and connect the Webcam when directed. If you had hooked up the camera prior to installing the software problems can result. I have a Logitech and I have not had any problems with it at all. To switch the camera back and forth between Yahoo and Windows Live Messengers I close out the one that last had the camera and load it into the orther. Good luck and I hope you get this figured out. Wish you had sent more info though on the problem.

If you have installed it from a disc make sure you have followed the instructions properly and not put your webcam lead into a usb port till after instalation as it has to be done this way to detect it. I would suggest going into control panel, add or delete programs, delete the webcam and start from scratch. There is also a webpage for thrust webcams where you can download drivers as well as updates and this can be found from google.
