Are there any websites or do you have any suggestions for good foreign bands? I dont care if they sing in English or not.

I like alternative rock, indie, garage, punk, pop rock, etc.

Assuming you dont come from Australia, here are a few bands to check out:

Love of Diagrams - http://www.shootthevariable.com/loveofdiagrams/

They play this really catchy no-wave punk, and recently supported Sonic Youth.

Wolf & Cub -
www.wolfandcub.com

They play this heavily psychadelic/post punk sound. If you've ever heard of The Birthday Party (The second band Nick Cave was in, and another one to check out) you'll have a pretty good idea of their sound.

Bit By Bats - www.bitbybats.com

Dancable indie/post punk sounds that would fit in in a mosh pit OR a disco.

The Grates - www.thegrates.com

They've got a new record out, and have played in England & SxSW. They play a cheeky powerpop/punk mixture of some of the most catchy songs you've ever heard.

Also, just released by shock records (www.shock.com.au) are volumes 1 & 2 or Tales from The Australian Underground. Which details underground punk/post punk/indie etc. bands in Australia from 1973 all the way into the 90's. Have a look at them, they are great value.
