The word “interview” itself makes a person tense who needs to appear in the interview. It is normal human behaviour to become confused or get tensed but such things can be overcome with practice, learning from seniors and elders, thru own experience. At my time internet was not available. These days Internet is a rich source of information. U can learn many things about the interview by visiting the websites the links of which are given below. On some websites u will find questions also along with answers which are frequently asked and questions pertaining to ur requirement can also be found there. It will improve ur performance remarkably. If will infuse a high level of confidence in u. It will make u more frank and it will develop diplomatic qualities in u too. Overall, I would say that it will give an impetus to ur personality development.

Whatever you say be confident. Ask the interviewer a lot of questions too. It should be a two way interview that way they know you're interested in the job. Also, do your homework and learn a little bit about the company from the internet so that you'll appear knowledgeable.

A good weakness is you are very attentive to detail and at times you may be too focused on particular aspects of the overall task.

or

something about being dedicated and passionate and at times may take certain aspects of a project personally or may have difficulty letting go of a project once it's completed.

Good Luck!

Depends on the type of job, but dress is very important. The weakness question....answer like this. "Let me give you an example of a weakness I had in the past and how I improved." GIve an example...At one point of time when someone would tell me the "gossip" in the office I would listen and take it serious. Now I understand that everyone's point of view is slanted. I make my own decisions on the character of people.

Don't go in like you already have the job, act like it has to be a two way fit prior to accepting.

Anytime there is a silent awkward moment, ask the person interviewing if there is a specific talent they are looking for.

Your question is unclear, but I gather that you are looking for a weakness in case you are asked for an example. Your best bet will be to find a weakness that can be turned into a strength. For example, you could say that your weakness is that you are too nit-picky with details and that you always have to spend extra time making sure that everything is done correctly. You could say that this is a weakness, but the interviewer will think that you are detail oriented and thorough. Instead of hurting yourself you project a positive trait.

The question about your weaknesses is a trick question to see if you'll actually reveal something incriminating. Instead you should think of a work habit that you have that really isn't a bad thing - for example maybe you are a bit too much of a perfectionist, or your family complains that you think about work after hours.

Think of issues that you've had at other jobs and how you could phrase it in a positive way.

There's two schools of thought on giving weaknesses in interviews. One says to make weaknesses sound like they're good things. The other side says that admitting a weakness in an interview actually shows a strength. I shoot for somewhere in between. If you have a tendency to be late, say "I sometimes overextend myself by taking on too much." Good luck!

I worked for a fortune 100 company. They teach you how to act in an interview.
Walk in and shake everyones hand look at them in the eye and introduce yourself to everyone in the room even if they already know you or your name.

Dress for the part. If you take a pocketbook sit it in the floor beside your chair. Do not sit it in your lap

Take a binder or notebook a professional one. Write down 2 questions.
Always ask questions at end of the interview.

(When you answer your questions talk as if you already have the job) such as.... When i come aboard I would like to take on these responsibilities. When I begin I will start with this ... etc...

Ask about overtime (shows your willingness to work) also ask about incentives. what is offered to employees. Ask if there are any extra duties you can do (if working with a group of people)

Let them know you have ideas and you want to share them once you are there.

Works like a charm!

Try to be honest and open. Answer questions as concisely as possible. If you don't know an answer, admit you don't know, don't try to bull5hit. If it seems like an important question, offer to get back to them with the answer. Have some intelligent questions for the interviewers. If this is away from where you live, ask about the community, it's schools, parks, etc. Always research the company so you know about it, then you can ask some questions that show this knowledge.

Make your weaknesses your strengths... i.e. My weakness is my need to complete tasks. sometimes I'll stay all night to finish a project.

Anything like that would be good.

Find out who you're interviewing with and adjust your interview accordingly...i.e. If its with a small business owner tell him how hiring you will help his company make more money.... If its with a mindless drone at a fortune 500 company they only care about job security... so tell them how hiring you won't be a mistake and will make them look good to their boss. (sad fact, in large companies the only thing of importance to most people is keeping their jobs, they don't care if the company makes or loses money)

make sure you know about the company you want to hire you. Dress well & not flashy or trashy. Be sure you know what you want from the company. Pretend you are interviewing them. Be confident about your abilities. Write a list of your good points, let them ask you what you can do for them. Forget your weaknesses unless you are asked about a specific chore. Be honest!
