My wife whom i love to bits cheated on me about 4 months ago. her reason was that she never thought another man would find her attractive. I tell her how beautiful she is every day. Is that not enough. I know it feels good to be complimented and have someone want to get with you ,but why cheat on the one you are supposed to love forever?

Women always need. They need chaos, they need emotion, they need to think every man wants them and they need to have constant turmoil in their otherwise dull, forgetfull lives. The wedding is over, she isn't special anymore. Never mind her husband would, literally, take a bullet for her, she feels he no longer loves her because he can't measure-up to the emotional high she feels while romancing. In order to create emotions, (they feed off of it like a vampire needs blood) she cheats, knowing full well she will be caught. Now you will be forced to express how much you love her, which will be measured by the degree of pain and suffering you display. If you boot her out the door, she will wallow in miserable bliss and will run to her harpee friends and boo-hoo and sob and be reasured that it was never meant to be.
Take some advice -- piss on her and the emotional roller coaster she has dragged you onto. She will NEVER be true to you again. Cheating to a woman is worse than crack -- she will always want it and sooner or later she will do it again and again. Divorce her, and unless you have children to raise, never speak to her again. It is the only pay-back she can't deal with.

She is no different than many men..if she had little experience before she was married, and if she is approaching middle age, understandable. Or maybe she just takes you for granted and wanted something new on the side. Either way, you are the one who has to decide what you are going to do...if you stay, put it down and get on with your lives. Otherwise, leave or let her go. You cannot punish her for the rest of her life. Good luck

sometimes there are no answers to this and always never seems good enough reasons but she needs to help herself on confidence no one else really can do that not another guy or you, till then wont know , all people do somethin in a marriage to screw things up and regrets and doesnt realize what they had till gone and can never get it back the way it was, but if you have someone who really loves you and takes back you find its the best feelin, problem is always wish can get back what was there before, I wish we all could do it right and never have to feel this, good luck,

Because she thinks the grass is greener on the other side. Perhaps you should consider having her live on the other side instead of with you. Only you can answer why you would put up with this kind of behavior, but don't you deserve better than that?
Get marriage counseling, if she won't go, go yourself. Apparently her "forever" had a freshness date.

happens all the time- she got used to you saying it- nature is nature- you never fantisized about someone else? the difference is acting out on it or not- that's where she was wrong- wish more guys could be like you and compliment their women all the time- and they should mean it too- sorry about the cheating thing- hope ya'll can work it out

well, because your wife is stupid wether you realize it or not, leave her and go find another girl that will not cheat on you and if your wife asks you why you did it then tell her because you didn't think another girl would find you atractive.
just leave your wife, she sounds like a bad character anyway, once a cheater always a cheater

That is the worst excuse I've heard....couldn't she come up with a better one than that!! She's playing you for a fool. Obvious she really doesn't think that much of you. Nasty situation....and now that the trust is gone how will your relationship survive?

I would believe what she told you. For whatever reason, and it probably has nothing to do with your relationship, she needed reassurance of her sexuality. It happens. Personally, this is why I think a spouse should never tell the other that they've had an affair.
