no, I don't think so. We shouldn't judge actors by their personal life but instead by their acting skill.

Naw - he is still an "A-list" star whose movies gross in the $100m-$150m range in the United States. Plenty of other companies will be glad to work with him - he'll just have to accept less money!
Paramount was simply paying him too much and as a result they weren't making money on his movies so they sought to renegotiate the contract. Tom wouldn't settle for less so they parted ways.
Somehow, acting seems to be all about money for Cruise. Instead of seeking good roles, he wants to maximize his share of the take. I heard that he made in the $50m-$100m range for each Mission Impossible movie. Maybe he owes the Church of Scientology a lot of money or something!

Nope. He is in trouble in the short term, no doubt. But I think if he takes two or three years off and keeps his mouth shut, he can come back. He's made too many good movies for us to throw him away forever. Once everyone forgets his dumb *** comments, he'll be back. In the meantime, he needs to get out of the media spot light and just raise his kids. Hollywood loves a returning actor after hiatus (Travolta, Pacino and Brando).

I think so. You can't publicly mentally control a very young naive woman just because you jumped on a couch to profess your love for her...Not to mention the nasty, judgmental comments made toward Brooke Shields (also mostly beloved) and at your interviewer-- Matt (also beloved by many).
Really, no one in life gets far being nasty to nice people and being a control freak with little sweeties...celebrity or not...

Not if he gets himself a better PR firm that counsels him and gets him to shut his mouth about Scientology, psychiatry, and anti-depressants. His ego and opinions have gotten the better of him, and the sooner he learns that, the faster he'll get his career back on track. Personally, I could never stand the guy.

Dear lord I hope so; I have never liked him as an actor or as a person (although I do love Jerry Maguire) and his recent actions and movies have just reinforced that opinion.

I doubt it. He may have some loopy views but I don't see why that should stop him. We do live in a society which protects freedom of speech and he is entitled to that freedom just like any other person. You don't have to agree with him and you don't have to despise him either.

Did he sleep with a live boy or a dead girl?
If not, all can be overlooked.
