hi, 1st of all with reference to the chewing of the mouth/nails & epidermis, it is only a habit out of boredom. concerning something else, it is genuinely OCD, many human beings imagine OCD means Obsessive cleansing ailment, even as in-truth it means Obsessive Compulsive ailment, and it really is offered in a lot of diverse shapes and sorts, from brushing enamel 50 situations an afternoon, to having to have pictures completely right now ect. i understand this because I have it, my living house should be ideal, and that i advise ideal, from correct to bottom each little thing has this is own position and each little thing is neat and tidy. this would sound good, yet once you're sprucing at 3 contained in the morning formerly you could sleep, this is type of demanding. i'm practise to develop right into a well being care service so I have really an entire-silled clinical heritage yet it is even extra constructive as I have a own journey. The worst section is, its extra psychological really than habit so that you could not purely choose now to not. See your well being care service and they'd refer you to ensure a psychiatrist who can help you convey and conquer this ailment. thanks and robust seem, Kieran.

I personally love chaos. The more things are out of routine the better I like it. Of course there are habits that I have like I always get a cup of coffee in the morning, read the news etc. But are habits a taste of OCD. That is an interesting question.

Yeah something like 80-90% of the population experience obsessions and/or compulsions. They are relatively "normal" things to experience.. OCD is only experienced when the person has obsessions or compulsions that impact on their daily life functioning, and they find them VERY distressing.. It's all on a continuum just like many other concerns we have..

Yes I believe that too.

I always put my pants on before my shirt, although it doesn't make any difference really.

I can't stand the feeling of being sweaty or dirty in any way, and I take showers all the time.

When I feel tense, I often count the seconds as they pass.

Yes. I can not stand to have dirty or clammy hands, I wash them at least every half hour.
