whats a GOOD reason to buy San Andreas?

im planning on buying san andreas for PS2, but before i do..i want to know what does this game have that the other GTA games dont have. And why is san andreas a fun game to play?

Never played it. Never experienced it. But I have seen it, and read about it. The thing is that both Halo 2 and GTA SA got 10's in game magazines. Halo 2 had great online play and a great campaign. GTA SA has an excellent campaign, and I reccommend it if you don't play online. It's very extensive, and there's almost always something you haven't done.

Hmm a good reason to buy SA? Lemme think...well apart from drilling people with machine guns, running over them with tanks, blowing up a highway full of cars with a jet fighter and so on the game simply rocks.

I don't agree with the "too much micromanaging" comment. I found it rather dumb that in previous GTAs you just ran around the whole time without ever stopping to eat or even take a breath. Plus it isn't like you have to eat every two minutes to live in the game, he actually eats rather rarely and amazingly fast lol.

As they said the character (Carl) can be pretty much customized as one wants, giving GTA a sense of roleplaying. Customizing the character ranges from buying a new pair of shoes and buffing him up to be very similar to Batista or something (and obviously as in real life one takes much more time that the other, and I'll let you decide which is which)

Anyways to make a (VERY) long story short if you like the previous GTAs, you MUST buy this one. I guarantee you won't stop playing it before you've completed the missions at least once!

Why should you buy this game? I can't believe I'm hearing this, it is only the all time best selling gta game ever and has only sold millions of copy's on the PS2. The guns, the cars, the girls, the planes, the story, the twist and turns, and the free roaming environment where you can do what you want to. Heck i may even change my name to Carl Johnson. Just buy it and you will love it for sure. Every-time i play i find something new that i can do or a different way that i can play a mission, gta rocks.

Carl can fly planes.
Carl can swim.
Carl can jump fences.
Carl can put nitrous on his cars.
Carl can get so physically fit that he virtually never tires out.

The game is much larger.

Other than that its pretty much the same. Its great like all the rest.

I did find that there were less of those "throw the controller against the wall" type levels. well maybe the RC and the Plane training came close...

They are just safehouses. They are a place you can go to save yourself from dieing. If you low on health or need to pickup some guns, you can go there to get some. You can also sometimes park your cars. I didn't buy them all till the end of the game because their really not worth it. Although its smart to have them. The cops can still get in and its not always the safest place. Their just little addons to work for.

It's a great game I would recomend it. It has great graphics, you can even swim in it unlike the other ones. You can also jump off builds and out of airplanes using parachutes. You can fly jumbo jets,use jet packs,hovercrafts and all kinds of other amazing things. If you do get it go to cheat code central to get cheat codes.

It is a huge game. It is much well way bigger than the rest and it has good storylines! maccer is amazing (only in the venturas missions though) It has good cars and there is modding to the cars you can swim and exercise etc.

i bought it but im gonna trade it in on something else. youhave to micromanage CJ. eat ,workout ,build driving skills and other skills. too much. i just want to play., i think Vice City was better .. and of course GTA 3 was great,

its maaaaaad long definately worth the money HUGE map and its fun to play
