When does the Wii come out, when is it available for preorder, and where do I preorder it?

Nintendo Wii (formerly Revolution). I want it, terribly bad, and I need to know when I can preorder it and where I can it at.

I work at EB Games and I know we are not currently taking reserves for. We are most likely not going to take preorders because like the PS3, we most likely won't be garanteed an amount in stock. We'd hate to have what happened to the Xbox 360 happen with another system. My suggestion is to wait for a release date and then plan on camping out at a game store.

I'm in Australia, and I've had it on pre-order for my husband for months, so I assume it would be available for you to pre-order too. Apparently the release will be around November. Ours is on pre-order at Electronics Boutique, along with a few games. Hope this helps. Also, I think the Nintendo website has further details.

In Australia and Canada, you can pre-order from Toys R Us. I would expect that more info regarding pre-orders will be available once the launch date is officially announced. Apparently, it is supposed to be out before American Thanksgiving, but there have been rumors that it may be out as early as October. Many retailers are hesitant to offer pre-orders due to the Xbox 360 fiasco.

people were hoping to hear about the public release date from nintendo at the Leipzig convention in Germany...and were disappointed...you'll more than likely hear about the release at the Tokyo convention in September!

you'll be able to pre-order when they make a SOLID date of release to the public..until then...you'll just have to wait (unfortunately)

i am in australia in brisbane and i have mine pre ordered from EB games. and it could come out from 1ST NOV to 1ST DEC
