You want the good and bad side? The Good side is - filipinos are very polite and tolerant of foreigners to a point that it becomes sick. On the bad side - filipinos will take advantage of any foreigner gullible enough to believe what the Filipino says. Bottom line - filipinos have a stupid stereotype about foreigners and put them up a pedestal just because their skin is different and their accent is different. Filipinos seem to have forgotten the basic premise that the host is supposed to be respected in his own house in the same manner foreigners are supposed to be diligent and respectful in someone else's home...lest they want to get kicked out or deported.

filipinos are known for their hospitality, not only towards foreigners but to anyone who enters the filipino home.
