All I know is that it didn't get a good score. If you're a very patient lighthearted gamer (Not a hardcore gamer) then I'd suggest you get it.

Compared to the PC/computer version of the game, the PSP version is a shadow. Actually it's a different game.

If you do get the PSP game, you may be frustrated that you can't create families, and customize their hair, clothes and appearance as much as you can in the PC version.

From the IGN review:
"it serves to note precisely how different this game is from both the PC and console versions. There's no child rearing, aging or death, for starters. You can't start a family or build a house from scratch, and instead of controlling your character with a cursor, you directly control your character like in a third-person action game."

PC gamers can furthermore make fun challenges to try to accomplish. Like an evil goth sim which sort of like a black widow, marries/mates, has a child by then murders the victim then goes on to another. With the goal of never working a day in his or her life, but living off of the riches of his or her victims.

Other challenges are here, and people make up more all the time.

The PSP version is pretty much scripted to be an adventure game and for some people, that's all they want. But it's not the same as the Sims 2.

it's okay....i used to be addicted to the first set of sims games for the computer...and I liked the PSP games for the first sims because you had goals to work toward. But, you don't for sims2.
