I am looking to move there.
Sorry, plenty of Black friends, go to a mostly black church - no problems with black people but any way you slice it you have to admit that black cities have more crime. PERIOD.
Deny that and you're denying reality.
And I'm tired of the crime - grew up in a black neighborhood - live in one now and I need a break (especially since there is a huge crime wave in my neighborhood now)
As I'm writing this I can hear you all calling me a racist.
Funny but I'd doubt anyone would call a black man racist who wanted to "live among his own people" After more than 30 years... that's all I'm asking.

Any cities?

David: Incorrect. I grew up in NY. Those statistics are BS. The police and govt. cover it up. It has always been a crime nightmare only improving slightly when Giulianni "cleaned things up" - if you can call it that.

Italy? Romania? England - never said those weren't bad. Bad places are everywhere.
I'm stating the fact that areas with high black populations in the US have high crime. This is a simple fact that could be dealt with if so many people werent' like wavyhead or whatever your name is.
So sad. so many in denial.

WavyHead:
Putting aside your namecalling and your assumptions about me - and the fact that you DID NOT admit to problems in the black community in your first statement let me fill you in on the facts:
Black population: 12-15% of US.
US DOJ: "In 2004, offending rates for blacks were 7 times higher than the rates for whites"
US DOJ: Homicide Type by Race, 1976-2004
Victims Offenders
White Black Other White Black Other
All homicides 51.0% 46.9% 2.1% 45.9% 52.1% 2.0%

If people like you stoped denying the 800lb gorilla sitting in the room, maybe things could be different. In summary, I'm saying less than what Bill Cosby had said on various occassions... oh yeah - he got slammed too. Very sad.

Look for cities in the following states: Idaho, Vermont, Montana, Wyoming, Maine, Utah, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Hampshire.

There are almost no blacks in any of those states so you should find what you are looking for there. You won't have to deal with blacks but I'm sure there will be other problems to replace your current ones. ;-)

Cities With Lowest Black Population

I don't think it's a coincidence that cities with the highest crime rate have a large black population...
I also don't think it's a coincidence that cities with a low crime rate have high white and asian population.
It's the nature of the beast. Iowa,Idaho,Montana,Utah...Wyoming..God's Country. And then, You have Chicago & Philadelphia... Barack's stomping ground.

I'm from Honlulu, HI and I only know a handful of black people. I've met maybe 7 in my whole life. But crime is everywhere, we have a very high drug count or something like we're the cocaine state... so I really don't think it matters where you live. I'd suggest moving to a small town though because they have lower crime rates.

I live in New York and drive a Yellow Cab. Believe me as soon as you drive to black area or pick up a black man or a woman you will get in trouble. Of course not all of them are bad but mostly they are aggressive and ask stupid questions they don't have an idea of being patient kind and intelligent. I remember how my first month driving a cab in NY was nightmare because every wrong move I do only black people used to act aggressive towards me asking stupid questions like "What the **** are you doing ************ or are you ******* idiot?" Excuse me I just made a wrong turn or move its not a reason for jumping on me with aggression. The last incident made me stay away from black people forever I've been assaulted and robbed with the gun they beat me and stole my phone in the Bronx. After 2 weeks since then I was driving and stopped for a red light on 56street in Manhattan where 4 teenager black kids were crossing the road and one of them stood right in front of my car and said "Hey you! **** you." and shows his mid finger. I decided to follow and see what were they doing and after passing away 3 blocks they started shouting at Indian pedestrians and throwing at the garbage and bottles. The other day behind the Penn Station another drunk black guy jumped to the front of my cars saying he wants to beat the **** out of me just because he does not like me. I said to myself that is it Im about to move to another city from this ****.

WavyHeadedWun,

Funny you should say. There are parts of England where stabbing is becoming a major concern, and many of the offenders are young White males.

To the poster, perhaps you could move to San Francisco. There's a community w/ little to no Black people, and the area even has their own rainbow flag. They will 'love' you.

If you're worried about crime look up major cities with the lowest crime rate - don't base it on how many black people live there. I will say, Seattle is 10% and not much crime, but New York is safer and has way more black people than that.

I imagine the best thing to do would be to find a small, quiet town in some place like Alaska. I considered doing this just to get away from people in general. I believe living day after day in a dense, crushing mass of human beings that is common in most cities is unhealthy for anyone.

Such a shame. You say you grew up in a black neighborhood, yet you are blind to the reasons for the crime. Not skin color. But drugs, guns, and a careless P.D. are the making for a bad community. Terrible question on your part *******. Why don't you move to Corleone Italy, or Romania, and see how people YOUR color care about your welfare. They'll rob and kill you as fast as any black. Such ignorance. You disgust me.

Who's really in denial here?? I stated that there WERE problems in the black community. If you weren't so AFRAID of people/cultures you don't understand, than maybe you'd GAIN some understanding. There are bad neighborhoods all over this country, with ALL races contributing to the crime. It's just that blacks get more notariaty because we look more menacing. Grow up. Please. You still have alot to learn.

Arizona is the perfect place with dozens of small towns you would be the only black dude there but keep that in mind being a minority you will face lots of other problems like discrimination.
