How do I tell my parents that i'm gay? My family happens to be a gaybashing family and my dad makes fun of "fags" because he was raised to hate them. My mom really has not much of an opinion but im sure she would be disappointed. My brother got in a fight at school
because he was scared that a guy was checking him out. I've lost all of my male friends at school and its really hard to make new ones. I can't tell whether or not guys are gay. In the P.E locker room a guy caught me looking at him and it was the most awkward moment of my life. Even the bible speaks out against homosexuality, but I can't deny my love for other men. So can you help me find a solution?

Do what your heart tells you......But if you are not old enough to support yourself and live on your own then dont say anything.....cause that decision might leave you without a roof over your head.

Think long ang hard. Is this how you really want to live for the rest of your life? Would you really be happy if you came out of the closet and be hated by your family? I am not going to tell you that they will still accept you after your confession because in real life, that rarely happens. It will take a long time (or never) for a family like yours to accept that you're gay. Should you decide to tell your parents, just tell it out right like "I have to tell you something, I'm gay", start with your mom because she is neutral about it, then tell your dad and brother. But be prepared to be riculed and shouted at (or even a slap on the face) and know that after this you have to move out of the house because they will disown you. So if you're still young, try to finish school first before doing this. While at school, think about it, try to go out with girls at least; try to see how it feels like to be straight.
If you are the religious type, you should know that the Bible says it's a sin to be a homosexual. Have you heard of Sodom and Gomorra? Well I know some Christian males who are gay but they don't practice having sex. Abstain from doing that, pray for guidance everyday. I hope which ever path you choose to take, you are prepared. It will be so tough, you'll need all the friends you can have to get through this. Goodluck and God Bless.

You should not tell them at all. You made a really bad lifestyle choice. Your best bet is to be healthy and normal and marry a girl. It is a sin against God to be gay.

Its not natural to want to be with someone of the same gender... Your dad is wrong to hate and make fun of someone because they don't agree, your brother is wrong for getting in fights about this... but the Bible is RIGHT. Christians can love and pray for someone who is in sin. but we are not to judge them or make fun or fight them. We are to show them Gods love. Iwill keep you in my prayers

How old are you? Maybe your just confused and not gay at all. you could be bi. talk to your mom be honest honesty is always the best policy.
