Get hold of this book: "Your Memory : How It Works and How to Improve It" (Paperback) by Kenneth L. Higbee. If its not in your local library, you can buy it at Amazon.com for about $10.

There are many useful memory-enhancement techniques available such as 'Loci method', 'enhanced list method', etc. But, most people who claim to have bad memories actually have no memory deficits at all. What they usually have are attention problems or interferences.

I recommend you have your memory checked by a clinical psychologist.

Play simon! Ya know that game where you have to remember the beeping lights!! Doctors give that to coma patiens when they come out of a coma!!! if you are right handed use your left hand to do everything!! For example : Brush your teeth with opposite hand, write with opposite hand...Also get a deck of cards and pick 2 cards and try to remember the color the number etc....And leave them at home and when you get home try to remember what they were with out looking!!!! And if you did it !! Good job and the next day pick 3 cards...so on and so forth!! Trust me !!!!

Maybe you need to slow down some, have you a lot on your mind? Have you made too many commitments to too many people, places and things? Note pads and calenders are a great help. Be nice to yourself, a person can only do so much!

Stop the Vegetable Oil intake... It has been proven that Vegetable Oil does give people memory loss.... *( Olive Oil is the best!)*...

Also, Fish helps your memory... Eat as much fish as you can!

*( My big thing is i love beer batter cod, buts fried in veggie oil, bleh! ) *

So, no veggie oil, and lots of fish :-) *( Also take Omega 3 vitamins )*

Write stuff down! Your getting older. Some say Ginseng? will help your memory power. Try keeping your brain acctive my doing puzzles, like crosswords or Sudoku. They keep your mind working.

Eat More Tacos from Taco Bell. If you only eat from there you won't have to waste valuable memory space remebering where or what you ate.
