I'm just curious, I don't mean to sound like a golddigger or money obsessed or anything. But I've heard that the British royal family is worth $10 Billion or more, but I've also read stuff that suggest it's less than that. So does anyone know?

No one knows the exact extent of the Queen's personal estate, as it is personal. But it's a safe bet that it's pretty substantial. Not, however, $10 Billion (and remember that a British billion is worth FAR more than an American billion).
What confuses people is that those who don't know the Queen's estate is separate from the country's estate is that the value of things like castles and crown jewels are often added up and placed with the Queen's total assets, when in fact, they are not hers at all. She is merely the custodian of these items, and they will be passed on to the next monarch.
So in answer to your question, it is MUCH LESS than that $10 Billion figure.

They are worth far too much. If they had to pay Inheritance tax like the rest of us, and the courts were not corrupt when it comes to the Aristocracy, they would be a lot poorer. Their wealth is blood money accumulated from extorting the people they say they serve.

I saw a special on VH1 about them saying it was around $1 billion.

You could see if Forbes has anything on them. The company sometimes compiles lists on different types of the rich.

I think that the Royal Family (Monarchy in general) is overrated and obsolete, in modern society. They're just a drain on the taxpayers, especially since they have no governing power anymore.

Actually, I read that Daniel Radcliffe from the "Harry Potter" movies is richer than either prince, if that helps get things into perspective.
