i am in 7th grade and 12 and most everybody is like almost 13 but i want to know when you hit real puberty! i've heard people say all sorts of things but i want your amswers.

I would say around 12-13. but it changes with everyone. no one is the same.

It depends on the guy. There's a whole range of what's "normal", but if you look at references on the web you'll see ages ranging from around ten to fifteen or sixteen.
I'm probably reading too much into your question, but I'm concerned that you may be feeling weird or left out or simply anxious about when your own body will start changing, if it hasn't already. Those feelings are pretty natural among adolescents; I don't know anyone who hasn't had them. Personally, I felt like a freak all the way through puberty.
But rest assured, it all evens out. By the end of high school, you'll be shaving and cursing when you cut your face along with every other man on the planet.

12 or 13 is too early for puberty. 14 is the actual beginning of the puberty in guys when your voice starts changing. Just wait and see. It's a funny experience.

Actually it's a process that begins for both boys and girls at about 8 years old. It takes awhile. Girls tend to mature faster than boys.
I think the plan there is that boys don't complete the process until they are older so that in prehistoric times they would be able to provide for the younger females while they turned out the little ones.
Most girls reach sexual maturity in the range of 12 - 14 while guys max out about 18 - 20.
BTW about the pre historic times. Everyone died about 30 -35. That's why you are capable of producing offspring so soon

It's different for everybody but the norm for guys is probably 12-14 i think. My older brother started puberty when he was like 12.

Usually around 13 years old. Guys tend to hit puberty slower than girl so although some girls start puberty around 11 or 12 years old, guys usually start around 12 or 13. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puberty

most guys will get there by 9 or 10. If it's any later I would start to worry, some guys never hit puberty
