When you're playing music from your library on itunes and you let the songs just play in order, they fade away at the end and the next song fades in. There is no complete stop between the songs. So does anyone know how to stop that feature on itunes?

on the command line click itunes and get to preferences window (on a Mac). Probably "properties" on a PC.
There should be a tab called "Playback".
Under that there is a slider that says "Cross-fade Playback". uncheck the activation check box or set the fader to zero.

That should do it.

Go to Edit on the menu bar, then click on Preferences. There click on the tab "Playback". Turn off the Crossfade Playback.

go to Edit, and click on Preferences. The first box, "Crossfade Playback", should be checked. Uncheck it, and that'll do it! :) I had the same problem

That doesn't happen for me. Try changing the options and settings on each individual song.
