u may get slight contractions i am 2cm and havent had any didnt know i was till i went to the doctor friday i was getting sharp pains at the top of my vagina thats all

As far as I know you can't feel if you have dilated. I never did... just contractions...are you experiencing any labor pains? close to your due date? Id contact your Dr if you are concerned about dilating.

Yes you can check it yourself. You would be able to if you could insert your fingers in yourself far enough to feel it. You can ask your husband to do it for you. http://www.birthresourcecenter.org/cervicalcheck.html

you can't feel. The only way you can tell is by having your dr. check.

you get contractions which range from painless to very intense,thats what causes your cervix to dialate and open.

You can't 'feel' it happening, only your doctor can tell you.
