The body expels toxins in many different ways. Through the urine is one of them. You picked up a bacteria somewhere, and your body is ridding itself of it that way. You may want to supplement the body's actions by herbals or homeopathy. To find a naturopath, see www.trinitycollege.org; to find a homeopath, see www.homeopathy.org. Both have practitioners listed on their site by state.

Anywhere. I suggest you do another urine analysis, and a more specific one to detect what type of bacteria is present.
Traces of bacteria in the urine is a very common finding, and unless you know what kind of bacteria it is, no one can tell if you should be concerned or not, or where the bacteria came from.
When giving the urine sample, be sure not to collect the beginning or end part of your urine stream. In other words, start peeing for a bit before collecting the sample with the cup, and take the cup away before you reach the end of your peeing.

Our bodies naturally have bacteria in them. Most people have 2 to 4 pounds of acidophilus in their colons. You also can get bacteria in the urinary tract from certain sexual partners, especially new ones as your body is not familiar with their bacterias, etc. if you are word about it stop eating refined carbs and drinking alcohol, especially beer as this only feeds the bacteria and makes things worse.

There are a lot of different places that it can come from. Women tend to be more prone to bladder infections since their urethra is much shorter than a man's. Hopefully the doctor perscribed an antibiotic. You should be fine as long as you take all of the medicine he gave you or as directed by him/her.

If you are female, the bacteria can work their way thru your urethra when you wipe. You can get bacteria in your urine thru sexual intercourse, swimming in dirty water etc.
